CBDF’s debut banquet and fundraiser…
CBDF was introduced to the community via a banquet/fundraiser that took place at St. Paul AME Church with then Pastor, Rev. Dr. Gregory V. Eason, who served as speaker. Thanks to the children, their parents, and numerous church volunteers, the banquet was a success.
Washington, DC Trip…
CBDF took 40 youths to our nation’s capitol where they met with Rep. David Scott; received a guided tour of the Capitol; sat in on a congressional hearing with Rep. Hank Johnson; and visited national monuments and the Washington Zoo.
