Daniel Dickson has been on a mission to save the lives of YOUth in the Joyland community for over 40 years. In an effort to keep kids off of the streets and out of juvenile, in June 2011 he started Macedonia Summer Camp.
The camp focused on food and fun with breakfast and lunch, arts and crafts, reading and writing, and entertaining field trips to the movies and neighborhood swimming pool.
Aiming to deter YOUth from fighting and resorting to guns/weapons to resolve conflicts; in 2014, his vision to encourage YOUth to be more respectable to adults and each other led to the creation of Community Blueprint Development Foundation, Inc. (CBDF).
Summer 2014:
CBDF originated from a summer program for children held at Macedonia Baptist Church in the Joyland Community.
